Channel Marketing Specialist comes to the aid of resource strapped marketeers - Comms Dealer

A new service designed to bolster the marketing activities of ICT companies has been rolled out by Blabbermouth Marketing.

The firm's Marketing Mate service operates as an extension to clients' existing marketing activities and offers additional expertise and support that can be leveraged on demand.

"Marketing Mate brings extra skills and man hours to assist in both ongoing and specific projects, or just simply to offer support during busy periods," explained Blabbermouth Marketing Director Elizabeth Sparrow.

She also noted that Marketing Mate plugs a gap for smaller firms caught between the challenge of conducting effective campaigns with limited resources.
"Small marketing departments typically use multiple third party services and each time will need to brief the supplier on their corporate profile and company requirements," added Sparrow. "They are often considered a small account, therefore their work is not prioritised and they are not offered the best rates. Small marketers also face the difficulties of manpower management during busy periods, for example when preparing for a product launch or exhibition."

According to Sparrow these challenges do not merit the recruitment of an extra member of staff as the skills required are too diverse and work is too irregular. "However there is a strong demand for help as many firms rely on their marketing initiatives to drive their business growth through brand building and product promotion," she pointed out.

Under the Marketing Mate scheme Blabbermouth operates as a one-stop-shop for marketing requirements and a dedicated account manager is tasked with fostering a partnership approach. "Building up a strong ongoing relationship with Blabbermouth will ensure marketing activities are maximised and partners qualify for preferential supplier rates," added Sparrow.

Blabbermouth's portfolio also includes graphic and web design, advertising campaigns, PR, event management, e-marketing, product launches, business start-up collateral and corporate refresh services.
